Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this very rare lovely hand painted Limoges Pheasant game birds platter.
This platter was made by the Barny & Rigoni porcelain company in Limoges, France. It has the green whiteware mark of 1894 and was hand painted and signed by the Limoges artist L.Thabard.

It features an ornately scrolled, scalloped and molded hand painted gold rim with gold floral leaf accents on a light pink and white rim.
The center scene is of a hand painted family of three pheasants walking amonst the forest flowers and brush with a beautiful sunset sky.
It is signed by a known Limoges artist of that time, "L. Thabard".
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
It measures 18 inches long, 12.25 inches wide and stands 2.25 inches tall.
