Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique German porcelain plate.
Made by the Carl Tielsch Company, the makers mark dates this plate to have been made between 1875-1925! This is done in the "mixtion" method with a hand painted transfer.
It features an "embroidered" napkin on a basketweave background that features two, what I think are the "nonpareil" birds belonging to the buntings and finches. They are also known as "matchless beauty" painted buntings and the painted butterfly.
They are perched on a tree branch with beautiful sprays of pink, orange and yellow flowers with green leaves on a vine and gold flowers on the corners on a basketweave background.
The back has factory made holes with an old wire hanger so you can put this on your wall as soon as you receive it!!
It measures just under 10.5 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!!
Add this to your personal collection or give as a fabulous gift!!
